Autism Future provides a tailored program for individuals with Autism to gain experience and employment in the video production industry.

Our Mission

Our focus and mission is to provide development services that are tailored to prepare people with Autism find employment in the Film industry. We provide career exploration, job search assistance, job placement, and coaching. We know that employment is more than a job; it’s the opportunity to participate as a member of the community. That’s why Autism Future believes that we can create limitless opportunities for people with Autism by partnering with local businesses, trade schools, and universities.

What we do?

We teach more than Filmmaking; we teach life skills that will impact your career and livelihood. In our program you will improve social skills development and career skill training. Helping a young adult with autism pursue a career in the film industry requires a supportive and inclusive approach that recognizes their unique talents and abilities. We provide tailored support and accommodations.

Working closely with the individual, their support network, and industry professionals, it is important to identify their specific areas of interest and strengths within the film industry. Whether it be screenwriting, cinematography, editing, or acting, customized training programs and mentorship opportunities can help develop their skills and provide hands-on experience.

Creating an inclusive and understanding work environment, educating colleagues about autism, and implementing necessary accommodations will allow them to fully showcase their creativity and contribute their unique perspectives to the film industry. By embracing their talents and providing the necessary support, we can help young adults with autism thrive and make valuable contributions to the world of filmmaking.

We want to create an environment of unlimited possibilities for people with Autism.”
