5 Reasons to join Autism Future Program

  2. Familiarize yourself with equipment: Get acquainted with the basic equipment used in video production, such as cameras, tripods, microphones, and lighting. Research different types of equipment and their functionalities to understand what you may need based on your goals and budget.

  3. Study video production techniques: Explore various aspects of video production, such as framing, composition, camera movements, audio recording, lighting setups, and video editing. Online tutorials, courses, and resources can provide valuable guidance and teach you the technical aspects of shooting and editing videos. (Online courses coming soon)

  4. Practice shooting and editing: Apply what you learn by practicing your video production skills. Experiment with different camera angles, lighting setups, and editing techniques. Start with simple projects and gradually challenge yourself with more complex ones to improve your abilities.

Identifying job skills and interest

Autism Future provides assessment and evaluation services so the individual can receive guidance regarding development of their employment goals in the film industry. Through this service, we set clear goals based on the individual’s strength, interests, and skill. Whether they want learn how to become a Director, Writer, Sound design, or Stage designer. We will provide hands-on paid training for film projects to give the individual the skill and confidence to perform the job.

School to work transition

Autism Future partners with local High schools to assist youth with Autism in their transition from school to the workplace. Through Academic preparation, job skills training, internship, and career coaching we will be able to help the individual gain the hands-on experience they need.

employment coaching

An Autism Future coach will provide support during the initial training period of employment. The coach remains available to both the persons with a disability and the employer for assistance if issues or concerns arise. (Online Courses coming soon)
